Wig-Wag Signal at the Denver Railroad Museum
This unique Wig-Wag Signal was seen in many different locales throughout its run as a grade crossing warning fixture. The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) outlawed this particular signal in favor of a stationary double roundrel anchored to a horizontal arm and bell system. This particularly good example is at the Denver Railroad Museum, located between Denver and Golden, Colorado.
