This is a wide angle shot of the overhead flexible bus on a 69-kV double main bus substation of Oklahoma Gas & Electric's Shawnee, OK facility. The structure and equipment place its age in the 1930s. It is a clean and well thought out arrangement with oil circuit breaker protection. The substation has been modified and added on over the years. It is near the south end of Shawnee, Oklahoma and serves a mill and some industrial sites just off U. S. 75. The breaker is a frame-mounted General Electric Style from the very late 1920s or early 1930s.
