UPRR WRRS Terminal Box (Iron) and Dead-ends
Barely visible to the bottom left of the dead-end double arm, is a WRRS terminal box--iron--of course--mounted to accomodate approximately five pairs of wires on its binding posts. These terminals were mounted to allow access to signal circuits and could be seen every two miles or so on Union Pacific Railroad facilities. This picture was taken in western Kansas.
