Here we can see underground conduits ascending a pole where potheads (cable termination devices) are attached and offer a means to transfer power from underground, buried facilities to overhead--or vice versa. Adjacent to the terminal pole is a double dead-end switching structure with an S&C Alduti-rupter 15-kV class air break switch. Building rear in foreground is campus office and classroom building.
