This is a panorama of the last openwire Bell System lead in the five-state Northwestern Bell territory preserved thanks to the two and one half year efforts of D.G.Schema and The Electric Orphanage. The lead is now owned by CenturyLink, which looks after its upkeep. It is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota just off I-90 at Tilford, South Dakota.
